WELCOME TO AHPO!

We at Asian Health Profession Organization are a group of students that want to focus on a profession in health. We provide volunteer and shadowing opportunities, as well as test banks and study sessions. We also have fun social events at most meetings and split into families for friendly competition. You do not have to be a pre-health or Asian to join, so bring your friends!

Hey guys! Make sure you check out the right hand column to see what events are coming up for April (or download the powerpoint)! Paintball and banquet are coming soon, and so it's time to make sure you have all your points to become an active member! Check out your points HERE and make sure you have these:

Attended 4 general meetings and 1 mandatory meeting (1 makeup—a med school lecture—is allowed)

10 hours of volunteering

5 hours of fundraising (Points given per hour; food fundraisers count as 1 and .5 per friend)

5 socials (at least one hour at each event; family night count)

8 academic points (turn in tests, professor evaluations, and attend study sessions)

Get your points in before 4/28 for free paintball and before 5/4 for free banquet!

You have a chance to receive a discounted prep course at Kaplan or The Princeton Review!

The prompt is Why do you want to pursue a career in the health care field?. The essay should be up to 2 pages, have 1' margins, have 12-point font, and be double spaced. Email Richard your essay by APRIL 30th at 12:59:59.

This is a GREAT chance to save on money, since not many people actually send in essays! It doesn't hurt to take a chance!
